Dress Code & Dining Guidelines
Sofia is a fine dining Italian steakhouse, and the room reflects it — guests dress for the occasion, and the atmosphere is part of what they come for. Our dress code is smart casual to elegant. Here's what that means in practice.
What to Wear at Sofia
You'll fit right in wearing:
Collared shirts, button-downs, blouses, sweaters
Dress pants, chinos, dark denim in good condition
Dresses, skirts, elegant separates
Blazers and sport coats (welcome, never required)
Dress shoes, loafers, heels, clean fashion sneakers
Our rule of thumb? Dress to impress.
What We Ask Guests to Leave Home
To maintain the atmosphere our guests expect, the following aren't permitted in the dining room:
Athletic wear of any kind — gym clothing, track suits, jerseys, athletic jackets, sweatpants
Athletic or running sneakers, slides, and flip flops
Graphic t-shirts and caps
Excessively baggy pants or ripped jeans
Admittance is at the discretion of management. If you're unsure whether something works, our team is happy to advise when you call — (201) 541-8530.
Dining Guidelines
Please notify your server of any allergies when you're seated. Not all ingredients are listed on the menu, and while we accommodate many dietary requests, we cannot always guarantee zero cross-contamination.
Outside food and beverage are not permitted without prior authorization. For special occasions — custom cakes, rare bottles, celebration arrangements — contact us in advance and we'll do our best to make it work.
